4 Day Dubai Itinerary (2025)

Before We Start

• You can Adjust this 4-Day Dubai Itinerary to your own trp.
• Also note that this is a guide for the first-timers who want to see most of the attractions in Dubai, so please adjust it to your own plans. If you feel overwhelmed on some days and want to do less or want to have more beach days, just skip some of the activities.
• Public transport (metro) is safe and you can just tap in and out.
• Taxis are safe, metered and perfect at night (Dubai is not very walkable, except in specific places)
• Also Best Season for this Itinerary is from November to March (outdoor-friendly). Although you can just skip the outdoors if you’re traveling during low-season (summer).
• Check the Tickets you need to book in advance. I wrote all the links in Red in the Itinerary and you can just click and select your date to book.

Day1 – Downtown Dubai: Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall & Fountain

So let’s start the day 1 of your 4 Day Dubai Itinerary with The most famous attraction of Dubai:

Morning:

1- Dubai Mall walk & Photo spots: See the Human Waterfall with the diving statues and window-shop around the Fashion Avenue. Also grab some early photos before it’s crowded.

2 – Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo (Great for first-timers): Also walk through the tunnel and see sharks, rays and 33,000 + marine animals. Get the tickets here.

Lunch at Hurrican’s Grill: an exceptional dining experience specially the ribs and steak. Or Babel Dubai Mall: A fantastic Lebanese Restaurant in the Fashion Avenue.

Afternoon

1- Visit Burj Kahlifa Observation Decks: (level 124 or Sky for level 148). You have to book the ticket at least few days in advance and would suggest to buy the tickets for the SKY on level 148). Book your tickets here.

Evening (at 6pm)

1- Dubai Fountain show outside of Dubai Mall: The show runs every 30 minutes in the evening from 6pm to 11 pm. Also watch at least 2 shows as the choreography change.

2- I also suggest to take a tour of the Dubai Fountain Lake Ride with the boat, and it costs around $17 but so dreamy. Here is the link.

Dinner: Try Carluccio’s which is a great Italian Restaurant close to the fountains. Or Social House (we love this restaurant) for the best fountain view.

Day 2 – Old Dubai + Desert Safari

So let’s start the day 2 of your 4 Day Dubai Itinerary with an exciting adventure.

Morning

1- Visit Al Fahidi & Dubai Creek + The Souks. You can get a Taxi or book a tour. I would recommend to book a tour, as it might be even cheaper than metro or taxi and it’s a fun experience. And it’s not that expensive, just around $20/person or even cheaper. Here is the link to book.

If you’re visiting on your own, First visit the Gold & Spice Souks, then get an Abra ride across the creek (no need to book in advance) and visit Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood.

Lunch: we suggest to visit the Arabian Tea House, which is a restaurant with Emirati courtyard in Al Fahidi and they’re serving traditional Emirati dishes. It’s fantastic.

Afternoon

We suggest to come back to the hotel and take a short rest to get ready for the evening, so that you can enjoy it the most.

Evening

Book an evening desert Safari with hotel pick-up & drop off, including Dune bashing, camel ride, sandboarding, sunset photo, desert camp and BBQ dinner with live shows and Arabic dances. Get the ticket here.

Day 3 – Dubai Marina, JBR & The Palm

So let’s start the day 3 of your 4 Day Dubai Itinerary with a relaxed atmosphere:

Morning

1- It’s beach time, so we recommend to get a day-pass at Jumeirah Beach Hotel (no booking in advance, get it at the hotel ) and enjoy the view of Burj Al Arab and swimming in the Persian gulf and the different pools. (Kids pools and facilities are included). Alsoi f you’re into Jet skiing, you can also book a 30 minutes tour in advance. Here is the link.

2- Or if you don’t want to go to the beach, you can also book a tour to visit Burj Al Arab from inside, which we highly recommend, if you haven’t been inside yet. Here is the link.

Lunch: You can have a great lunch buffet at Jumeirah Beach hotel with a fantastic multi-national cuisine. The cost is extra, but it’s definitely worth it.

Day 4 – Museum of the Future and Miracle Garden

Let’s start the day 4 of your 4 Day Dubai Itinerary in the Future! LOL

Morning

Visit the Museum of the Future: Start your day with future! LOL… This building looks like a silver ring covered in Arabic Calligraphy. And if you like science, entertainment and a bit of relaxing, you should definitely visit this Museum. You can also book your tickets here, I recommend skip-the-line tickets to avoid long waiting times.

This will take around 2-3 hours and after that you can either take the Metro or the Taxi to go to the Mall of Emirates.

Noon

Walk through the Mall of Emirates and visit the Ski Dubai. Take your time to go shopping. I love this shopping mall, because it’s cheaper than Dubai Mall and has a more vibrant atmosphere (at least for me).

Lunch: Go to the second floor, you can either have lunch in one of the fast-food restaurants close to the Ski Dubai (they are actually all fantastic), or you can visit the Lebanese restaurant with the full view of Ski Dubai (Karam Beirut).

Evening

From the Mall of Emirates, you can just take a taxi to Dubai Miracle Garden. It’s one of the world’s largest and most colorful flower gardens. And yes it’s outdoor, so I wouldn’t visit it before 4 pm. It’s truly magical. Get your tickets in advance here. Also take a water bottle, a hat and wear comfy shoes.

Dinner

Head to the Souk Madinat Jumeirah which is around 15 minutes ride from the garden. It’s a fantastic place for a romantic dinner or having a drink in a beautiful mini Arabic city with the view of Burj Al Arab. Also Take a walk in the souk and also outside.

We also love to take an Abra (wooden boat) on the river. It truly feels like an Arabian Venice and additionally it’s so instagrammable. So if you’re on Instagram, then put that on you 4 Day Dubai Itinerary.

Dinner: We love the Al Makan Restaurant by the water with Arabic cuisine and if you love to spend a romantic bar night with view, also Bar Buci is a fantastic one.
